Shoot out…

Hey everybody,

Me & Kylie have been chilling out today but a couple of hours ago our peace was broken by a swarm of low flying Police helicopters outside our apartment. Apparently (we discovered later) there was a police officer shot only a couple of miles away at a school. Luckily the officer in question was OK as he had on his bulletproof vest and, according to the news, is alive and doing well.

However the police have been searching for the gunman all afternoon (hence the helicopters) & when one of the neighbours pulled into our back alley he discovered a horde of officers had him cornered!

On hearing this, we instantly went to check it out and found that the back alley had been blocked off and there was around 20-30 cops… PLUS the now apprehended gunman!

It was an ideal photo, so here are some pics (and the news report) of all the drama & a job well done by the boys in blue.

Wikipedia or bust…

Hey everybody…

I have said this many times but here I go again… My life is strange!!

This time the strangeness appears when I find that I have my own Wikipedia page… err sorry, what?!

Yeah, you heard me…. SO, here it is in its full glory! (attached below) The life & times of me (via articles & other stuff found on the internet!) I have no idea if this is a good thing or a bad thing, I suppose it nice to have the blog mentioned (as you know, I appreciate all you guys who come & check it out) and it’s also nice that people are interested in Me & Kylie… or just interested in Kylie & I’m the guy with the inside track?!

Either way, it’s strange (to add the growing collection of strange)…

Ok, so let’s see what happens next, if it stays up, if it grows or if I get in trouble for this screen grab!

PS I have started a rough draft of part 12 of ‘the Story of me & Kylie’ (…must. keep. momentum. going!)

New Laptop… Score!

Hey Everyone,

Just thought I would test out my new laptop… yes NEW!!

Mine was like 6 years old and bought for me by some Scouse gangster type when I worked in Mersey side back in the day, If it wasn’t for my good pal Mick, it would have died a long time ago… but hey, out with the old and in with the new. I am not going to bore you with details of it’s gun metal finish & 17″ screen but needless to say it’s awesome (but the best part is ALL the keys work!)

Anyway, I am currently updating software, putting codes in etc & I noticed it has some kind of blog program on it that updates WordPress, so I thought I would give it a whirl & stick a couple of pics up from yesterday.

Just to give you a brief rundown of yesterdays activities, Me & Kylie went for a hike to one of the local parks and stumbled upon an old dam that was used in the opening sequences of Iron Man 2, the bit that hosted ‘Stark Con’. We were out and about for a couple of hours, we tried to climb it (which eventually we managed, the steep bastard) and then played ‘catch’ and a bit footy with an old baseball we found! I know its not Rock n Roll and I know we do the strangest things sometimes but fuck it, we find romance in the most childishness of things & in the strangest of places!

So, he said, trying to change the subject (Oh… and we sat and watched some HUGE hawks fly around for a while too) here’s a couple of pics from the day… like I said originally, this is just a test blog and my new laptop so don’t hate on me for being mundane!

My First Movie credits…

Hi everybody,

Currently Me & Kylie are working on the (very) early stages for production of a ‘as yet’ unnamed Porn Parody. It’s loads of  hard work but loads of fun… it involves ALOT of phone calls, numerous meetings (with ourselves) some driving around prop houses to get prices for stuff & other movie style type tasks etc…. However, at this stage, we think it might not happen, mainly due to the scale of the project versus the budget (which we don’t yet know!)

Anyway, so why all the effort you ask? …well, here’s why.

A couple of weeks ago we got the first copy of  a film we did together called “Kiss of the strangler” on which we did all the production design. It was a great film, a job well done & an awesome feeling to see all the sets we did, along with our flair and imagination up on-screen… but more than anything else (call me narcissistic) it was just fucking amazing to see my name  on the credits… Go team Appleton!

Err, and that’s it really (OK, you can call me a narcissist if you want.)

New Years Eve 2010

And so we finish the year as we started… with a BANG! (and a Giant Rabbit)

After a great Xmas, we had a couple of days off, chilled out & had some alone time, it was nice to spend ‘phone off time’ with Kylie, so we hid away from the world, watched TV, dressed the retro tree (which turned up 2 days AFTER Xmas) skyped with family & basically took life at our pace.

We had various options for New Years Eve but we decided to go with the ‘first come, first serve’ option & so ended up going over to our friends Tim & Dor’s house with one of our bestest buddies Mischa (plus a stuffed man called Gordon) and also along the way pick up another pal Lynn…

Anyway, when we got to Lynn’s house we were amazed to discover him stood in the street wearing a Giant Bunny costume… ‘err OK’ we thought (after 5 mins of hysterics) and so we bundled him into the car and set off to our destination, all the way with him sticking his bunny head out of the window bawling ‘Happy New Year’ to one and all!

So, once we arrived (and after Tim and Dor got over the shock of a Giant Rabbit and a life sized stuffed man as NYE guests) we commenced to make food, drink copious amounts of booze and generally run a muck…

After a couple of hours, we came up with the brilliant idea of playing party games, namely ‘Taboo’ …however we didn’t have a one. So giant rabbit went over to a neighbours, with a threatening note pinned to his chest and stood outside their front door until they gave us theirs! Which miraculously worked (he was a spooky looking rabbit!)

At midnight, we then drank vodka in champagne glasses in the street to toast the New Year as yet again the Giant Rabbit ran around causing chaos and scaring small animals (leavng poor Gordon all alone inside) … as an aside to the story, whilst we stood in the street, a strange man appeared in the world tightest trousers (and very flambouyant yellow top) said hello, Happy New year, threw 2 fireworks in front of him and then literally pranced off  away into the night.. it was all very surreal.

We then played taboo, the greatest game in the world when you are drunk, till around 4ish, made our excuses and went home… Once we got back to the homestead, I then commenced to bang the crap out of Kylie’s ass until the sun came up! Go team Andy!

And that was it really, some good company, a few drinks, a few laughs, a giant rabbit and a good time was had by all… Then rampant filth and collapsing in a drunken stupour, what more do need from a NYE party?

To give you a better idea of the night (as most of the antics get lost in translation) have a look at the pics… and Roll on 2011.

Andy

PS Whilst I forget, I have gotta say a quick thanks to everyone (that means you) that have taken time to read my blog, I hope the random bollocks I write either make you laugh, cry or just plain envious, either way… thanks, it’s appreciated!

PPS I know, I have to continue the stoy of me & Kylie, I’m stuck on part 12… I will finish it promise!

Christmas 2010 …LA Style

What a fucking great Christmas! Seriously AMAZING…

This was our first one together (in person!) and I don’t think it could have been better, we had GREAT weather, gave great gifts & had some of the best & dirtiest sex EVER! What more could a guy ask for? (apart from the retro Christmas tree we ordered turning up BEFORE Christmas day, not 2 days after!)

So, the story goes like this: I knew what Kylie wanted as she has an Amazon wishlist for her fans, so in order not to tip her off as to what she was getting, I set up my own wishlist and added the presents she wanted to it, then bought them for myself… I then had them shipped to the PO box for her fanclub (which I always check!) and HEY PRESTO, instant surprize and a moment of brilliance from me.

Incase you were wondering what I gave her, she got a New Handbag, a steam punk Necklace with love hearts & skulls on it, a new set of  ‘cool as fuck’  headphones for her radio show & a Kindle case/bag. She loved them, her face lit up when she opened her presents… she’s a little cutie!

In return, she got me a couple of Neck chains (including a really heavy set black one, that I still haven’t taken off!) the world coolest ‘Lucky 13’ bowling shirt (she knew I have always wanted one) some D&G aftershave (the one I wore in London) and endless amounts of Jack Daniels stuff, including a food brush, wallet, hat, Rubiks cube & set of glasses (she knows me too well!)

Like I said, a perfect day, with the perfect wife… all in the city of Dangles, I am very lucky, I know (before you all say it!)

SO, as ever, here come the photos… thanks for readin, I’ll be back shortly with details of New Years eve!

The Wall

Last night me & Kylie went to see Roger Waters “The Wall”

OMG! What an amazing show…

It was held at the Honda Centre in Anaheim (which we couldn’t find for ages!) but before the show we had a meal at the stadium, in the Jack Daniels Old NO 7 Bar, it was a Buffet type scenario but like no other buffet I’ve seen, truly incredible food, I ate pretty much everything they had!

SO after that and a couple of JD’s (it woud be rude not to) …The show then commenced, it was an extravanganza of Sound, Music & Lights. The Entire show was on a HUGE wall, that was built DURING the entire show, with appropriate images from the film (plus new updated versions) beamed onto the it & the stage… all produced & performed by Pink Floyd originator/writer/performer Roger Waters himself.

Special mentions must also go to the 30ft puppets & GIGANTIC Flying pig that propelled round the stadium… you had to see it believe it!

So here are some pics (as ever)

Back from Vegas…

After a great weekend in Vegas, we stopped off at Zzyzx & then found an abandoned waterpark… it was spooky as fuck, totally empty & completley trashed, we wandered around for an hour or so taking photos & generally running amuck!
